Becky & Ed

Husband & wife Owners

You’ll often find Becky during the week, bustling between welcoming customers, creating new seasonal dishes, and keeping things ticking over.

ED is usually crafting small-batch kimchi, pickles, and new recipes that bring bold, vibrant flavours to the table as well as working for a charity.

Martina

Assistant Manager

Martina has worked in the hospitality sector in the South of France, Slovakia and Italy and she even had her own coffee shop in Wellington before she successfully sold it. She joined the White Post Cafe team because for her it's definitely a home from home. Not only the beautiful setting, specialty coffee and great food, but the dog friendly atmosphere makes it an oasis for her even when she works. She brings her Chihuahua Bruiser for a homemade doggy biscuit, too.

Rhiannon

Assistant Manager

I joined the team in July 2025, bringing experience from assistant managing a busy pub restaurant and a more recent chapter studying as a paralegal. Now, I’m overjoyed to have landed in the beautiful Somerset countryside with the wonderful Whitepost crew.

I love everything about Whitepost’s sustainable, seasonal, and wholesome ethos — it’s a place that really aligns with my values. I’m so looking forward to welcoming you (or welcoming you back!) to the café soon

I’ve been part of the team since 2022. I love the cafe and the amazing people I work with. Outside of work enjoy spending time with my dog Byron, socialising with friends and climbing.

I joined in the spring of 2024 and haven’t looked back since. Whitepost has given me the space to express my creativity through seasonal dishes that our customers truly enjoy. For me, hospitality is at the heart of being a chef, and I couldn’t ask for a more wholesome, family-built team to be part of.

I’ve found my home away from home — and I’m so excited for what’s ahead at Whitepost Café.
